Production Associate

Job Summary:

The Production Associate operates machines and production equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.


This role involves assisting in the teardown of high-horsepower diesel engines, including disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of components for the next production stage.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of high-horsepower diesel engine components.Operate production equipment safely and efficiently according to established quality standards.Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by reporting hazards, using personal protective equipment, and engaging in safety training.Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials.Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standards to meet production goals.Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including performing housekeeping tasks and equipment care.Communicate effectively with team members and support staff to ensure smooth workflow.Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent education or experience.Ability to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Mechanical competency, including experience with engines and hand tools.Strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with high-horsepower diesel engines or similar mechanical systems.Knowledge of quality processes such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and poka-yoke.Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
