Overview:
Our Growing company is searching for experienced candidates for the position of Mater Planner/ Production Control Coordinator.
Works closely with Operation Manager, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering to ensure production orders are adequately released and scheduled to support customer requirements as well as various other duties in support of customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Creating and maintaining detailed master production and material plans used in driving Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and planning production capacity and support SOP.
Work initiatives associated with performing capacity analysis, time studies, labor performance analysis, and cost estimating.
Review and analyze MRP requirements and release work orders daily.
Monitor and work action messages, intercompany, external and internal WIP, adjusting production jobs as required.
Work PPOD queues as required.
Download and monitor customer provided forecast allowing adequate production time for manufacturing.
Perform order splits, reductions and increases as required.
Adjusting operations and build information, queue times, run times, inventory settings, build quantity, and warehouse information as required.
Close open work orders as required.
Cleaning up transactional data (journals), closing open operations, adjusting pick quantities, ending erroneous demand, etc.
Monitor future work and ensure appropriate flow of follow on and new work using the expedited report.
Coordinate internally as required regarding any issue with WIP that will affect customer requirements and commitments.
Monitor and complete Engineering Change Orders (ECO) as required.
Attend required meetings with appropriate accurate data.
Document all transactions, issues or concerns and important information appropriately and accurately.
Assist other departments in meeting in meeting organizational goals as required.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: Candidates will possess a thorough in-depth knowledge of ERP systems, Master Production Scheduling, Production Planning, and Capacity Planning.

APICS - CPIM and or CSCP training and certification strongly preferred.
Experience with Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement tools and/or certifications preferred. Aerospace / Defense Manufacturing preferred Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to analyze and address complex issues and provide directions on timely resolution.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and MRP manufacturing software.
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or related field and three to five years experience in manufacturing, production planning and scheduling, master planning, or production control
Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities: Proficient knowledge of MRP system function Above average communication skills Able to multitask and adept to shifting priorities.
