Production Coordinator (Commercial)
POSITION SUMMARY
•Position will be responsible for maintaining permit compliance and processing permits through the proper city/municipality to meet company deadlines.
•Coordinates contractor work and make-ready, obtains permits and access agreements, distributes design prints and other necessary working documents, and approves design or construction changes.
•Establishes aggressive timelines for work to ensure the project meets due dates.
•May function as a company representative with other utility and state/local entities
•Research and review plan and gather necessary data for the project.
•Maintains workflow databases and updates schedules.
•Participates in managing and estimating revenue forecasts, material planning, capital, and expense budgets.
•Estimates construction costs, prepares budgets, and tracks expenses.
•Verifies serviceability, surveys proposed service routing, and estimates material, construction, and labor costs.
•Coordinates with the construction team to prepare contracts and jobs.
•May inspect construction work or coordinate inspection assignments.
•As projects are completed, perform tasks to close tasks in the database, reconcile assets, and generate reports.
•Tracking payments for permits as needed.
•Other Project Management and permitting-related duties as assigned by the manager and needed for local operations.
•Ability to upload permits to our software programs.
•Ability to travel/drive to pick up permits.
•Communicate permit dates to the scheduling and logistics department.
•Regular, reliable on-site attendance

•Perform mathematical duties up to algebra level
•Analyze and interpret plans and technical documents to find and report on specific data
•Be able to read documents such as sales contracts and inventory lists
•Work with and communicate with government faculty all over the state via phone, email, and in person.
•Monitor and facilitate workflow for the permitting department to ensure deadlines are met Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates permit processing program activities and operations for projects with AZFS including issuing building permits, performing over-the-counter plan checking, reviewing, and processing.
•Coordinates permit processing activities with other City departments, outside agencies, customers, and the public; serves on inter-agency committees, boards, and commissions.
•Integrates and helps facilitate building and planning permit functions to support major department goals; supervises and participates in developing, implementing, and evaluating plans, work processes, systems, and procedures to achieve annual goals, objectives, and work standards.
Additional requirements Commercial Administrative support:
•Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the foundation repair industry.
•Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
•Ability to read/interpret blueprints, drawings & specifications and identify keynotes on plans
•Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather information for estimating
•Analyze project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities
•Utilize construction estimating software to create comprehensive estimates
•Prepare and submit bids to clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is included
•Provide ongoing cost control throughout the project
•Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful project execution
•-Proven construction estimating experience
•Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
•Proficiency in using construction estimating software
•Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
•Strong organizational skills, flexible, and able to prioritize work assignments
•High attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
•Extensive knowledge of field conditions that may affect schedules & prices
•Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors
•Provide personal transportation that is insured, legal and reliable
