Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Production Coordinator.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all the various processes and timelines for a company's industry are followed closely for the most efficient results possible.
What you'll do: Maintains various reporting systems for ensuring that documentation is accurate and timely.
Creates production schedules daily and ensures that output is recorded into the correct system.
Ensures production orders are entered to both meet customer demand and production efficiency.
Ensures that the Atkore team receives the production schedule in a timely manner.
Assists in performing cycle counts of production products and materials.
Communicates with the Plant Manager when there are significant variations in product demand.
Communicates with the sales team when there are significant variations in product demand.
Communicates demand information across a facility so that everyone is aware of volume and metrics.
Works directly with the sales team to resolve scheduling issues.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What you'll bring:High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Three (3) years of experience working in a production environment performing the essential functions listed above.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
Must have prior experience utilizing both ERP systems and Excel spreadsheets for data entry.
Within 3 months, you'll:Complete your Atkore Immersion Program.
Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.
Complete a plan for process improvements with information gained in first 90 days.
Within 6 months, you'll:Communicates demand information across a facility so that everyone is aware of volume and metrics.
Analyze materials and supplies as required and recommend replenishments.
Works directly with the sales team to resolve scheduling issues Within 12 months, you'll:Outline a long-term plan for world-class operational planning.
Populate/participate in facility Lean Transformation Planning related to scheduling improvements.
Fully document new processes and train back-up resources.
