What You'll Do: Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing designated areas within the scrap yard. Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash, debris, and recyclables from various areas of the facility, ensuring proper disposal methods are followed. Clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly, replenish supplies, and ensure a hygienic environment for employees and visitors. Assist with Recycling: Separate and manage recyclable materials to support the scrap yard's sustainability initiatives. Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow employees and management to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary. Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment. Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
