Position Overview: As a Production Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our seafood manufacturing plant. This position requires a seasoned professional with prior experience in a leadership role within the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities: Supervision and Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor production team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Provide guidance and direction to the production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Production Oversight: Coordinate and oversee the daily production schedule, ensuring efficient utilization of resources to meet production targets.
Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to uphold and enhance product quality standards.
Enforce adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for production staff on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
Identify skill gaps and work with management to implement training and development plans.
Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate production goals, targets, and performance expectations to the team.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure smooth and integrated operations.
Qualifications: Previous Leadership Experience:
Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role within a food and beverage manufacturing setting.
Industry Knowledge: Background in the food and beverage industry
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address production challenges and optimize processes.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
