The Production Manager will be responsible for the complete coordination and output of several production lines across our 2nd shift, including communication with the customer whose products are produced on the line.
Job ResponsibilitiesManagement and leadership of the supervisor and the production staff (approx. 60 employees)Coordination of multifunctional support team to prioritize activitiesResponsible for personal development and personal strategyEnsuring the further development/promotion of employees (IDP, People Review)Ensuring efficient production processesProactive planning of production utilization and prioritization of production ordersResponsibility for the output of the production quantities in relation to personnel deployment and the resulting production costsCreation and presentation of production-relevant key figuresContinuous improvement of production processesCommunicate with suppliers when necessaryCreation of budget plan for staff growthEnsuring lean methods in production (Factory Board, PMS, RCPS)Focus on shop floor activities (Gemba/waste walk)Support for lean projects within production (DBS)Maintenance and monitoring of health and personnel statisticsProjects related to production optimization (productivity, yield, throughput)Implementation of measures to obtain the certifications (e.g.: IATF 16949)Creation, support and implementation of training measures in the production environmentSupport for Complain Handling when determining the causes of errorsInterface with the customer to provide updates on output and line statusBudgeting of the annual need for temporary workers, including the ordering processMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in leadership within the production of automotive or electronics industryFamiliarity with industry standardsKnowledge of Leadership, Lean Management, SAP and IATF 16949Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsSelf-motivated with a passion for continuous improvementWill to travel within the United States and to other countries as neededEmployee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:

Compensation DataThe base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $137,000, depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
