About the Production Manager position
We are looking for a Production Manager based in Los Angeles who will efficiently organize the start-to-end process of YouTube videos for The Stokes Twins (creators).
Your duties will include facilitating the smooth running of all production lines, from reviewing scripts for video production, working with a set budget, delegating to a team of editors and staff, and being the running point for all things logistical for The Stokes Twins.
The production manager should possess deep understanding of production procedures and ability to direct personnel and processes towards maximum performance.
We also expect you to have strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Production Manager responsibilities are:Script and Reference Material Review: Thoroughly review and analyze scripts and reference videos to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and goals.Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are kept within the allocated limits (e.g., $10,000 for Video A, $20,000 for Video B).Track and report on expenditures to ensure financial efficiency and accountability.Task Delegation: Assign tasks to team members based on their strengths and project needs.Monitor progress and ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality standards.Logistics Oversight: Coordinate and track the shipment of equipment and materials, managing returns and exchanges as needed.Ensure all logistical aspects of the production process are handled efficiently.Team Coordination and Supervision: Maintain regular communication with team members to ensure alignment with project goals and daily tasks.Proactively address any issues or delays to keep the production on track and maintain team productivity.Quality Control and Troubleshooting: Oversee the quality of the content being produced, ensuring it meets the project's creative vision and standards.Address and resolve any production issues or challenges that arise during the process.Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of production progress, budget usage, and team performance.Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, potential risks, and key achievements.Process Improvement: Evaluate production workflows and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for future projects.Required qualifications1+ years' experience of working on a Production Manager or other similar position in at a large YouTube or creator space.Knowledge of the YouTube video creation process from conceptualization to delivery.Significant experience in production management and reporting on key production metrics.Good knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.Strong decision-making, organizational and leaderships skills.Strong communication skills with close attention to detail.Results-driven approach and good business-oriented thinking
