Responsibilities:
** Shift schedule is Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm.
There are multiple openings for this position ** Job Summary: Under direct supervision, manufactures parts in accordance with procedure MPP-000-039 using molds and automatic/semi-automatic machines.
Essential Job Functions: Complies with all safety standards.
Uses appropriate personal protection equipment.
Uses the Standard Method Sheet to ensure the correct material, and methods.
Inspects attributes and variables as defined by the QCP.
Meets or exceeds required production levels.
Maintains cleanliness of molds and equipment.
Maintains an orderly and clean work environment at all times.
Follows all Company Policies and Codes of Conduct.
Operate molding and casting machines.
Follow manufacturing instructions and data sheets.
Operate compression or injection molding machines.
Read specifications to determine setup and prescribed temperature and time settings.
Pour material into mold.
Remove cured product from mold.
Inspect products for surface defects and flaws.
Ensure conformance to specifications.
Position and secure assembled mold and mold components.
Eliminate production of defective parts and products.
Take instructions from supervisors.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent training and/or experience with a focus on general studies.
Experience: No experience related to the position.
Manufacturing experience helpful.
Other Skills and Abilities Required: Able to work effectively in a team environment Must be dependable, punctual and committed to do the job right Able to comprehend and follow written work instructions/procedures Must be computer literate Physical Demands: Medium Work - Lifting of 50 pounds maximum.
Must be able to continuously stand and perform repetitious tasks.
Continuous use of hands and arms.
Production Operators need to be able to lift 50 pounds and work on their feet, while using tools to perform repetitive actions, for up to a 10-hour shift.
Due to the time-sensitive nature of manufacturing, some workplaces have overtime requirements.
In order to abide by certain OSHA and local environmental agency regulations, mandatory safety training, protective gear, and chemical handling procedures are required.
