FISBA NORTH AMERICA / PRODUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR / SACO, ME FISBA North America is seeking a Production Project Coordinator to work from their Saco, Maine office/production facility. The position works closely with the Production Manager, assembly operators, and VP of Engineering to coordinate the execution of projects and tasks related to the engineering and production of advanced optics assemblies and systems for the biomedical market. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and excited to grow and shape the role as the company grows and changes.
\n Requirements of the Position:2+ years of experience providing administrative and project support in an engineering or production setting. Experience in a high-technology product manufacturing company, medical device, or contract manufacturing company a plus.Excellent organizational skills to coordinate administrative details as well as small and large task execution for successful project completion.Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, customers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant project information to provide support and timely updates. Familiarity with engineering and production processes and terminology helpful.Experience with ERP, CRM and project management and other software-based team collaboration tools; high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.Strong creative and critical thinking capabilities to collaborate and problem solve with the team and project stakeholders. Responsibilities of the Position:Work closely as the assistant to the Production Manager and VP of Engineering to monitor all aspects of the engineering and production process to ensure timely communication and issue resolution with the customer and internal/external stakeholders. Plan and coordinate and monitor production workorders. Collaborate with the FISBA team of program managers, sales, engineering, and finance to support engineering and production projects that meet the highest standards for quality, and which meet customer specifications. Participate in initial customer/project meetings to understand scope and timeline to develop a strong understanding of project plans, milestones and delivery dates and ensure that the team has appropriate administrative support to successfully execute the project. Support the sales team by providing information for estimates and quotes, metrics tracking, as well as sales orders updates.Prepare and issue sales invoices for engineering and production orders. Provide general administrative project support including scheduling meetings, taking and distributing minutes, organizing and distributing project files, creating reports, etc.Update and maintain internal systems for the creation and maintenance of process and project documentation. Coordinate with vendors for the purchase and timely delivery of project-related materials. Communicate vendor or material issues to project team timely.Track project progress and update key stakeholders timely. Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to address issues and keep customer apprised of status. Communicate directly with the customer on billing issues or other project administration issues.
