The opportunity This position provides front line leadership while performing operational, administrative and logistical activities in support of the manufacturing/packaging of drug products. The preferred candidate has a working knowledge of packaging equipment and processes with an understanding of lean concepts to drive a culture of continuous improvement. 
How you'll spend your day Works directly with packaging Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy  Leads Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) sessions to solve complex problems while driving continuous performance improvements within Operations  Collaborates with Warehouse/Scheduling team to predict and prevent unplanned downtime within packaging department?  Works independently with minimal guidance  Maintains flexible work schedule to support production  Supports daily production with batch paperwork from start to finish including batch record retrieval, goods issuance, and returns?  Performs completed batch record review; address any corrections with appropriate individual(s) or shift  Works closely with QA to ensure documentation accuracy and RTF (Right the First Time)  Performs ERP transactions for components/bulk while ensuring line bins and Idocs are addressed daily with appropriate actions  Investigates any inventory discrepancies and works with team to correct any issues  Provides ERP training to support operations including new hire initial training to the department  Provides real time support for operations concerning inventory, ERP systems, batch paperwork, CDC and any other duties assigned  Performs new hire training as needed  Develops weekly inventory reports for all packaging lines and report out at tier/line boards?  Performs CDC Factory job schedule input for all packaging lines on a daily basis to ensure data accuracy  Assists with the execution of ownership improvement plans for operations  Performs job functions in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's), and Batch Record instructions  Performs additional related duties as assigned  Your experience and qualifications Education/Certification/Experience:  Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer Associate's/Technical/bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience within manufacturing operations industry will be considered. Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a regulated industry. Requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities  Strong computer proficiency skills with knowledge of ERP inventory systems  Motivate and lead others.  Self-directed with ability to organize and prioritize work. Communicate effectively with written and oral communication skills. Interact positively with co-workers, team, and supervision. Ability to train team. Physical Requirements:  Required to routinely wear personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, powered air purifying respirator, gloves, etc.  May be required to stand for prolonged periods of time.  Occasionally lifting or moving heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
