About the Role:The Production Supervisor- 3rd Shift is responsible for the associates and equipment assigned on their shift. The manager is charged with attaining all operational goals in their area by ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, cost control, appropriate systems entries, and sanitation. The manager must also maintain a satisfied and motivated staff by addressing poor performance and recognizing outstanding performers.
Main Responsibilities:Complete all jobs in any area as assigned by Director of Operations or Area ManagerEnsure the flow of operations in the area through appropriate staffing, and line assembly based on standardized staffing requirementsRequired to set up the production lines to ensure operational efficiency and line speed attainment, including retrieving items from bill of materials, product specs and directivesEnsure operational safety of all associatesResponsible to ensure all proper quality standards are maintained. All labeling is accurate, product size, color, taste, decoration, and glossAttend classes and training, when provided to increase overall operational knowledgeEnsure that any Quality and Production deviation are handled in the plant CAPA systemReport daily on production matric with preventable corrective actions for any deviationsParticipate or Lead projects to help improve plant metricsPrepare performance documents for assigned associates (evaluations, disciplinary action, attendance notices, etc.)Record and correct attendance discrepanciesWho we are looking for:Education or Experience High school Diploma or GED required.
