Production Team Lead – Full Time, 3rd Shift
Seeking a motivated Production Team Lead to join our team.
Responsible for monitoring, assisting, and training employees in a bakery production environment.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
3rd Shift: 8:30pm to 5:30am, Sunday – Friday.
Starting hourly pay range of $23.17, plus shift differential.
Comprehensive Nestlé benefits after 30 days of employment.
Yearly reviews and raises and opportunities for overtime.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:
Monitors, assists, trains, and maintains crewing level of employees.
Monitors, starts, adjusts, and operates production machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in the working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
Oversees production operations, monitors safety of employees, and inspects product to verify conformance to specifications.
Coordinates with other Leads regarding personnel, quality, changeovers, and daily activities.
Maintains process control paperwork including weight and batch control and time and yield efficiencies.
Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required.
1 year of leadership experience in a food manufacturing setting, preferred.
High School Diploma/GED, preferred.
SKILLS:
Previous manufacturing, Machine Operator, and leadership experience.
Ability to establish trust and credibility with employees.
Excellent organizational skills with writing and math aptitude.
Ability to effectively present information to management.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
