Swing Shift Production Team Lead job responsibilities include:
* Oversee departmental activities per standard operating procedures.
* Work with the Supervisor in the assignment and supervision of personnel to always achieve an efficient operation.
* Assist the Shift Supervisor to see that all manufacturing orders are followed through properly to completion and are filled out properly prior to turning in.
* Assists personnel in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments to perform work according to standard operating procedures.
* Provide orderly and efficient changeover to the next shift.
* Demonstrate Milgard's Core Values in all business interactions.
* Support training and development of team members.
* Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
Qualifications:
* Prior supervisory experience mentoring and motivating a team of individuals
* Prior manufacturing experience preferred
* Kaizen experience preferred
* Compute basic math equations and accurately read a tape measure
* High-level of Mechanical Aptitude
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel)
* Pivot table experience preferred
* Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
