Job Overview:
The Linde Production Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of an Air Separation Process at our plant in Phoenix, AZ.
This is a challenging and rewarding job that requires the employee to have problem-solving capabilities in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and production processes.
Production Technicians must demonstrate initiative and self-motivation and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Will be responsible for a variety of complex operations and production duties in an ISO/FDA/QA air separation environment where products include oxygen, nitrogen and argon.
This position requires a combination of office work and field work.
Responsibilities require 12 hour shift rotation with scheduled overtime.
Working extended hours and/or weekends, holidays and call-ins may be required.
Primary Responsibilities: Monitors equipment performance and makes minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations, troubleshooting, and product testing.
Must know when to call other specialists when more serious malfunctions occur.
Startup, shut down and operate production equipment as necessary.
Plan and execute operations and maintenance tasks for assigned plant(s) including lock-out tag-out, correctly and safely permitting maintenance work Purchasing of materials and/or services such as contractors Monthly plant billing, documentation, reports, and other administrative duties The candidates will operate the plants from computer.
Repair and diagnostic troubleshooting required.
Job requires working outdoors year-round, climbing 200' tall columns, some heavy lifting, using man-lifts and fork-lifts.
Fluent computer skills required.

Qualifications: High School Degree required Associate degree in a technical field preferred 2 - 5 years of experience in any of the following fields is desirable but not required: Air separation or similar complex process control function Instrumentation and control General maintenance of industrial equipment Compressors and compressor maintenance Industrial mechanical maintenance Industrial electrical or electrician Industrial Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) Military technical fields Machinist Mates, Electrician Mates, Gas Turbine Technicians, Boiler Technicians, Cryogenic Technicians.
