Professional Geologist

Professional Geologist Can be located in: CLARION, CORAOPOLIS, GREENSBURG, HARMAR, ALBION OR KITTANNING
Minimum Requirements:Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in geology or related field.GIT required; PG in Pennsylvania is preferred.At least 5 years' relevant experience.Geological mapping and survey techniques.Knowledge of mining and related topics including but not limited to:Open-pit miningStrip miningBlasting plans and noticesGroundwaterSurface waterWater collection and testingDust samplingKnowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations (PA required, OH a plus).Experience with related submissions and permits (NPDES, HOP, PNDI, GP 104, etc.).Understanding of wetland delineation, mitigation, etc.Interaction with related agencies: DEP, EPA, Army Corp of Engineers, etc.Ability to conduct fieldwork in various terrains and weather conditions.Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and/or hydrologic/hydraulic software a plus.Responsibilities:Project management and client interactions.Ability to efficiently plan and organize workload, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, have a commitment to quality, good communication skills, and a positive work ethic.
