Amazon is seeking a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Program Administrator to work within our transportation team throughout the United States. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute over a billion shipments each year to our loyal customers.
The CDL Program Administrator will support the Driver Training and CDL Scheduling teams within the Transportation Operations Management (TOM) organization. The successful candidate will be highly organized, extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, able to handle confidential information, as well as a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities. Must have a strong background in administrative support, project or data management.
Key job responsibilities
•Coordinate and execute CDL training for TOM associates in partnership with TOM's 3p training providers.
•Function as liaison between operational leaders, transportation associates and 3p training providers.
•Provide support and tracking on CDL training processes such as obtaining permits, open enrollment, school enrollment, program withdrawals and testing procedures.
•Manage related KPIs to measure, control, and benchmark TOM driver training processes including creation of recurring metrics reports and training content.
•Manage and maintain employee training details and progress.
•Maintain working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA(R) rules, regulations, and record keeping.
•Must be able to travel to and from various assigned locations, as needed.
About the team
The CDL Scheduling Team is responsible for the coordination and execution of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Training for TOM associates in partnership with its 3p training providers. The scope of the team includes, but is not limited to, day-to-day and ongoing vendor management, scheduling and rescheduling of CDL training, pre-requisite education, and the creation and distribution of proactive and reactive training materials as supplements to 3p training. The primary goal of the CDL Scheduling Team is the ongoing creation of safe and compliant CDL Drivers that meet Amazon and TOM's high bar of safety and performance.

Nashville, TN, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - High school or equivalent
