Program Analyst (Team Lead)

This position is located within the FAA, Aviation Safety (AVS), Office of Rulemaking (ARM). The Program Analyst serves as a Team Lead, applying regulatory, policy, and process management strategies for the ARM core programs – rulemaking, exemptions, and committees – focused on providing improved aviation safety through timely and appropriate regulatory action.
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I, FG/GS-13 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Experience includes:
Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating aviation safety policies and procedures.Conducting regulatory research and analysis to identify problems and developing and recommending solutions to improve efficiencies.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.
