Job Description: The Program Manager will oversee the Cybersecurity Assessment Services for the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) to ensure Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliance. This role involves managing a comprehensive assessment of cybersecurity practices, including annual Self-Assessment Questionnaires, quarterly scanning, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for coordination with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and other HRSA representatives. Ensure timely delivery of all services and manage project timelines and communication plans. Oversee and coordinate the execution of penetration testing on PCI components, quarterly Automated Scanning Vendor (ASV) scans, and other required assessments. Facilitate quarterly reviews and updates of key evidence to ensure ongoing PCI-DSS compliance. Support HRSA in completing and submitting annual PCI Merchant Level Two Self-Assessment Questionnaires. Manage and document all aspects of the program, ensuring compliance with federal records management regulations and privacy laws. Provide training and ensure compliance with all HHS/HRSA policies and standards among project team members. Qualifications: Proven experience in managing cybersecurity projects, particularly related to PCI-DSS compliance. Strong background in IT and cybersecurity with a solid understanding of PCI standards and requirements. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a project management role within IT or cybersecurity. Experience in managing federal contracts and familiarity with federal IT security regulations and standards.
