Position Overview: ATG is seeking a dynamic Program Manager with a strong engineering background, ideally rooted in the manufacturing or aviation industries. This pivotal role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and client engagement skills, making it perfect for someone who excels both in the office and on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities: Provides support for operations by planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of product launches to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are met. Partners with Engineering to make sure the design of the product aligns with the budget of the customer and is realistic to the schedule of production. Applies manufacturing and statistical methods to estimate manufacturing requirements, potential, and cost of product to be developed. Confers with Supply Chain to determine product specifications and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Analyzes manufacturing capabilities, production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for upper management decisions. Recommends methods for improving products by reducing wasted materials and utilizing reorganization of work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchasing equipment. Provides project management and manufacturing input throughout all phases of the product development process, including certification and document control. Tracks program against schedule, budget and phase review objectives in IQMS. Provides required communications to OEM or customer.
