The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in government contracting and demonstrate outstanding leadership, management, and communication skills to effectively oversee programs and staff across various locations.
\n ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee multiple government contracts/task orders, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.Lead and coordinate a diverse team of professionals across multiple contracts at various work locations to achieve program objectives. Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Implement and monitor performance metrics to track program progress and identify areas for improvement.Provide strategic guidance and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Prepare and present regular program updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and clients.Supports the company's continued growth by expanding existing revenue-generating activities with the current customer base while systematically cultivating and maintaining collaborative, mutually beneficial relationships with key external stakeholders and organizations to achieve company strategic goals.Interact regularly with company leadership and functional departments to ensure that operational priorities are aligned with company direction and needs. Support Union/CBA agreements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.Responsible for ensuring ongoing programmatic excellence. QualificationsA minimum of 5-8 years' experience in government contracting (Gov Con) is required. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing DOD/Government Programs.Preferred background and experience with U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force.Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.Must obtain PMP certification within one hundred and eighty days (180) of date of hire.Highly proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Prior experience using Deltek CostPoint, Concur and Paylocity preferred.Prior experience supporting and coordinating proposals to include both Technical and Cost Volumes.Demonstrated P&L responsibility and experience managing IDIQ programs with multiple active task orders using various contract types.Proven experience managing contracts and staff in multiple locations.Prior experience supporting a government contract with a Union/CBA in a program manager role.Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR, JTR.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to obtain/maintain US Security Clearance (Must be US Citizen).
