Job Summary The Program Manager will help develop and execute the grant-making program andprocesses in their assigned program.
\n Key ResponsibilitiesManage the program strategy for a defined area within a broader program, including a detailed theory of change with logic model, tactics and outcomesIn collaboration with team members, identify potential opportunities for transformational change and develop grant recommendations to achieve program objectivesFoster a dynamic, collaborative environment with other members of the team andTSFF management to work together to achieve program goals as well as TSFF goals overallPresent grant strategy and recommendations to the Executive Director and BoardSolicit, review and analyze grant proposalsPrepare and complete grant documentation for approval by the Program DirectorMaintain grant files, including contact management, evaluations and metrics reportingWork closely with grants administration and finance teams to ensure grants are processed in a timely, accurate and compliant mannerLead positive and productive partner and grantee relationships with a wide range of organizations and individualsManage and execute site visits to regions of geographical focusMaintain and share knowledge of current events in the assigned strategic area as it relates to programmatic outcomesBuild, maintain and expand upon an existing network of thought-partners and advisors Represent the Foundation at conferences and gatheringsActively participate in affinity groups, including panel moderation, webinar coordination and conference planningOther projects as assigned Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work effectively in a small organization with an emphasis on teamworkProven oral and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to actively participate in group meetingsCritical thinking, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills to interface and coordinateprofessionally with a number of diverse internal and external contacts, including grantees, vendors and fellow team membersFlexibility to work simultaneously on a wide range of projects and ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and meet deadlinesAbility to work both as a team member and individually, with a high level of self-motivation Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent education, with a record that demonstrates suitable preparation for the position3 - 7 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated project management skills with experience in administration strongly preferredFluent in Microsoft Office programsDemonstrated expertise in successfully managing a budgetExperience using an online database strongly preferredNon-profit experience and/or volunteering experience strongly preferred Reporting RelationshipsThis position does not supervise others.This position reports to the Program Director. Additional InformationSome positions in this classification require the ability to speak, read and write effectively in French.This position requires ability to travel domestically and, in some cases, internationally, depending on the assigned program several times per year.
\n$140,000 - $150,000 a year
