GENERAL SUMMARY The Program Manager is responsible for designing, coordinating and improving the internal and external programs of the organization. This position works with stakeholders throughout the company to deliver programs that align with department and company goals. The Program Manager also oversees Business Analysts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the implementation of our ERP solution.Ensure that assigned project-based programs are completed according to established schedules, specifications and budgets.Define the project scope and work that needs to be done to meet the project's objectives.Identify and analyze stakeholders, such as managers, key team members, vendors and customers to ensure positive engagement.Identify and mitigate risks that could negatively impact a project's outcome.Ensure that stakeholders are regularly informed of the status of the project.Regularly communicate with stakeholders to arrange meetings, confirm project schedules, performance to budget and discuss any project issues.Forecast potential schedule delays or budget overruns and develop alternate plans.Manage resources across all assigned projects.Act as the liaison with the company's outsourced IT group.Perform other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business or Business Administration or PMI CertificationPrior experience with ERP implementationAt least 3-5 years of program management experienceKNOWLEDGE Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to think strategically and translate to a tactical level requiredDemonstrated ability to work in a highly time-sensitive environment, meeting deadlines and achieving milestonesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetailed planning and project management skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint suite of products.Excellent presentation skillsABILITIES & SKILLS Reasoning – Interpret instructions both oral and written, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Professional – Ability to use judgment to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.Mathematical – Arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.Language Development – Excellent verbal / written communication skills; evaluate technical data; have increased contact with people.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND ADA STATEMENT The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
