Functional accountability -
•Work with Business Owners to effectively plan program roadmap and achieve milestones
•Develop and document project requirements and objectives with relevant stakeholders
•Organize and orchestrate delivery activities across all internal resources & vendors to execute projects on time, within scope, and within budget
•Create, manage and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation to track progress, and ensure updates are shared at all levels
•Manage Changes & Risks across project lanes & stakeholders
•Recommend solutions & mitigation plans for High-Scope or High-Risk project areas
•Uphold the member experience and program value proposition by ensuring a strong customer-centric focus in the development and delivery of new program features
Required skills -
•PMP Certification, BSc/BA diploma in management, systems engineering, or other relevant field required.
PO Certification and/or SCRUM Master Certification is a strong advantage.
•Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in similar Project Management or Program Management roles, ideally within airlines, loyalty programs and/or travel industry.
•Strong knowledge of Program/Project Management software (MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
•Strong knowledge of Aeroplan Loyalty products and programs (Aeroplan Elite, eUpgrades, Cobrand Travel Benefits, Aeroplan Threshold Programs, Air Canada Million Mile)
•Proficiency in Airline, Loyalty & Back-end systems is a strong advantage.
•Experience working across different stakeholders from multiple disciplines.
•Good organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task and manage long term, high visibility projects.
•Strong operational experience, with ability to bring ideas to fruition and support project implementations to successful completion.
•Solid communication skills (oral & written) in English and French and ability to convey ideas to working groups within the organization.
