The Opportunity
Our location in Austin, TX, currently has an opportunity for a Program Manager - Sales Training and Development.
The Program Manager - Sales Training and Development will develop, implement, and manage comprehensive training and programs to enhance the sales team's skills and performance.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
What You'll Work On
Needs Assessment: Conduct an assessment to identify training needs and skill gaps within the sales team.
Collaborate with sales leadership to understand business objectives and tailor training programs accordingly.
Curriculum Development: Design and develop structured training curricula that align with company sales goals and objectives.
Content Creation: Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, SOPs, e-learning modules, and role-plays relevant to training objectives.
Ensure all content is current, relevant, and engaging for all participants.
Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions, workshops, role-plays, and meetings for sales personnel at various levels.
Evaluation: Develop and utilize assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training and learners' comprehension
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners to ensure training alignment with the overall business strategy
Resource Management: Manage training resources, including materials, products, and budgets
Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all training materials, presentations, and educational content are prepared in compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Coaching: Provide coaching and support to sales representatives to reinforce training concepts and enhance individual performance
Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
Collect and incorporate feedback from trainees and sales leadership to continually improve training programs.
Required Qualifications
Associates degree and minimum 4 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in sales, sales training, sales management, or other related roles
Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or other related roles
Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and tools
Knowledge of medical devices and healthcare industry standards
Strong project management and organizational skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and deliver engaging training materials
Knowledge of adult learning principles
Knowledge of the MLR review process
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training software is a plus

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00.
