Hall of Fame Ave, Stillwaer, OK 74078 Hiring Supervisor: Allison Fennell-Conch Hiring Range: (Contingent upon available funding): 52,200.00 - 74,400.00, Salary Work Schedule: Typically, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: Will manage the daily operations of the Special Education Resolution Center (SERC). The Program Manager will provide information and assistance to individuals via phone/email, will participate in public awareness events and conduct educational events/trainings on behalf of SERC. Will closely collaborate with all stakeholders including local education agencies, parent and advocacy groups, etc. to successfully complete all contractual activities/deliverables. Will collect program data on the hearing and alternative dispute resolution processes. Will assist with updating/maintaining a resource library and website. Will conduct research on legal and special educational issues. Will assist with collecting, maintaining, and reporting to SDE when required, all identified data relating to the Due Process Hearing System and alternative dispute resolution. Will assist with receipt, verification, and transmission of all related invoices in a timely manner. Will fulfill any other requirements of a current contract with the Oklahoma State Department of Education not listed. This position will be officed in Tulsa, OK at 9726 E. 42nd, Ste, 203, Tulsa, OK 74146-3674. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. However, must be willing to travel as required on a frequent basis. Travel schedule necessitates working prior to 8:00 am and later than 5:00 pm. Will be required to load and unload materials and set up for conferences. Special Instructions to Applicants To be considered for this position, applicants must submit a resume, cover letter, and three professional references.Office location: 9726 East 42nd Street, Suite 203, Tulsa, OK 74146 Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree Four years of demonstrated experience in education, special education law, and/or administrative due process hearings. Knowledge of special education law. Valid driver's license Must have excellent communication skills. Must have excellent writing skills. Must be proficient with computers, particularly using Word. Must have knowledge of Administrative Due Process Procedures and Alternate Dispute Resolution required by the IDEA, 20 USC 1415 et. seq. Must have basic knowledge of mediation and mediation processes. Must be familiar with OSU administrative and fiscal policies. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D./J.D. in Education, Special Education, and/or Law Five years' experience in Education, Special Education/Alternative Education, and/or Law.
