PROGRAM MANAGER-SPHTo administratively manage one or more program/s within the School of Public Health (SPH). To independently design, develop, and administer program content for the assigned program. To establish program objectives, maintain policies and procedures, and serve as the liaison between the program and internal/external stakeholders. To provide administrative support to faculty, staff, students, and the outside community. To manage assigned program operations, develop and provide reports and/or analyses.
Duties & Responsibilities Leads and manages the ongoing development and maintenance of the program. Manages all data-related activities to support the evaluation and implementation of the program according to an established project plan.Develop protocols and procedures to standardize all data monitoring and reporting efforts related to the program and make recommendations on changes and objectives.Manages and leads all quality assurance and data/project reporting functions of the data team. Directs and leads the activities of data team members to support the successful implementation of specific activities.Develops and manages timelines to ensure compliance requirements and recommendations throughout the funded time periods for each project. Recommends alterations to procedures as necessary to ensure smooth operation of the program.May provide academic and admissions advising, counseling, and guidance to students in collaboration with faculty.May develop and implement budget model and pricing while monitoring revenues and expenditures to remain in line with projections and within specifications.May plan and organize events such as event planning, catering, and media communications for grant-related activities.Serves as the primary data liaison for the program.Performs other duties as assigned.Salary Range: $45,395-$73,770
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have completed their undergraduate study and courses focused on the social determinants of health, with attention to the experiences of LGBTQ populations. Lastly, the ideal candidate will be familiar with qualitative methods and data collection. Individuals should be able to communicate clearly, both in person and virtually, with community partners across the state of Alabama.
