The Program Reviewer position offers an exceptional opportunity for professionals adept in higher education evaluation and standards adherence.
As a Program Reviewer, you will be instrumental in assessing the performance of academic departments against revered industry standards, such as the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS).
Operating within a close-knit team, your insights and evaluations will culminate in a comprehensive report that can guide departments towards excellence.
This pivotal role involves on-site client engagements, demanding both precision in assessment and finesse in communication.Primary Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth evaluations of academic and administrative departments, measuring their operations and outcomes against recognized industry standards.Engage in on-site visits to gather firsthand information, facilitating thorough assessments.Collaborate closely with a dedicated team to synthesize findings and draft a detailed report.Maintain open channels of communication with departmental heads and faculty, ensuring clarity and feedback loops.Stay updated with evolving higher education standards, ensuring assessments are always aligned with current best practices.Offer actionable recommendations to academic departments to foster continuous improvement.Participate in post-review discussions, elaborating on findings and supporting departments in their journey towards adherence and excellence.Recommended Requirements:Master's degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field.
A Ph.D. or equivalent is a strong asset.Minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education evaluation, accreditation processes, or related areas.Familiarity with leading industry standards, particularly CAS, and their application in academic settings.Strong analytical, observational, and assessment skills.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Demonstrated experience in collaborative team environments.Ability to travel for on-site client engagements.Preferred Qualities:A solutions-oriented mindset, combined with a constructive approach to critique.Commitment to the pursuit of excellence in higher education.Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to evaluations.Strong interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration with both the internal team and external stakeholders.Continuous learner, always seeking to enhance personal expertise and knowledge of industry standards.Join our pool of dedicated Program Reviewers and play a central role in uplifting the standards of higher education departments.
