Job Title: Program Security Specialist L3 -4729 Job Location: Kirtland AFB, NM, 87117 Job Summary Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level three Program Security Specialist position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. As a Program Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our contract program security team, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the programs while efficiently managing day-to-day workloads.
Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing and executing personnel, physical, industrial, and information security requirements for our USSF customer, coordinating all facets of full spectrum program security with precision. Your expertise will be instrumental in coordinating and conducting personnel security operations within the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), and the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE).
Additionally, you will be at the forefront of coordinating and executing in/out processing procedures for military, civilian, and contractor personnel, as well as providing access control within multiple secure facilities In this role, you will be offering knowledge, and guidance as a security subject matter expert and advisor to both civilian security personnel and senior leadership.
Your support will extend to facilitating government inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Moreover, you will be entrusted with conducting thorough reviews of current policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), presenting well-crafted SOP drafts and proposals to government decision-makers, thereby contributing significantly to our continuous improvement initiatives.
