Duties As a Program Support AssistantGS-0303-7 , your typical work assignments may include the following:
Responsible for managing the purchasing process for purchasing supplies, equipment and services. Performs a variety of budgetary and statistical functions for budget formulation and oversight. Provides clerical support for planning, review and reporting of data and statistical results of program/project studies. Manages a variety of correspondence for programs, reviews and routes to appropriate personnel and/or program. Coordinates information and responses to assure consistency and conformance with program policies. Performs general office automation duties using software applications, such as: electronic mail, desktop publishing, calendar, spreadsheet, database and/or graphics. Manages online accreditation systems and resources, including assurance argument narrative and linked evidence documentation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.



GS-07 LEVEL: You must have One (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: perform program management and/or support work, such as office planning, research, analysis, prepare/control correspondence, communication, procurement management, budget management and oversight and prepare travel orders, vouchers, arrangements and accommodations.


Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
Education This position does not have a positive education requirement at this grade level. Therefore, no transcripts are required.
