Key Responsibilities:
Steer and guide the technological ship for the project, and the teams involved;
Make high-level design and architecture choices;
Dictate technical standards, and guide the development team;
Define the technological strategy with the development team;
Assess the technical risks and mitigation plans;
Select the appropriate technologies given the project's constraints;
Harness others' technical expertise to get the best possible solutions;
Interview candidates for technical positions;
Work closely with other producers, directors, leads, and developers to support project and company strategies.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in a technical leadership role within the gaming industry, demonstrating success in delivering game projects;
Experience working with Unreal game engine;
Experience working with Mobile games, especially on Android platform;
In-depth knowledge of game development methodologies, design patterns, and industry best practices;
Strong decision-making abilities to drive technical innovation;
Experience in risk management and problem-solving in a fast-paced, dynamic gaming environment;
Ability to self-organize and work very autonomously;
Ability to cooperate and consult with other directors, leads, and staff;
Ability to communicate well. Must be able to vulgarize technical concepts for both a technical and non-technical audience;
Ability to define and break down complex technical mandates and architectures.
