Project Accountant - Accounts Receivable

The Donaldson Organization seeks a qualified individual to report directly to the Controller.
The position is high pressured and fast paced.
The candidate must be extremely professional, have a team approach, organized, work well in a fast paced environment and have excellent follow-up skills.




Responsibilities:


* Prepare Monthly AIA payment requisitions for projects that require schedule of values and supporting schedules.


* Set up requisitions within ERP system.


* Coordinate with Project Executives at inception of job to establish billing timing, contacts and procedures.


* Coordinate with Project Executives on an ongoing basis to properly assess progress billings.


* Collaborate with Project Executive to obtain requisition approvals and ensure payments are received in a timely manner.




Skills/Qualifications:


* 5 years Accounting experience, in the construction industry preferred.


* 2-4 years of Accounting related coursework at college level.


* Well organized, detailed oriented, time sensitive and a team player.


* Construction Accounting Experience strongly preferred.


* Familiarity with full construction revenue cycle preferred.


* General Accounting knowledge.


* Proficient user of Excel.


* Familiarity with Textura and Procore desirable.


* Experience with ERP accounting system.


* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the Company.


* Additional assignments as requested by CFO.
