Position: Construction Project Accountant Reports to: Head of Finance  Summary of Position: We are looking to grow our finance division with a Construction Project Accountant. The ideal candidate is self motivated, a team player, detail-oriented, and has a high work ethic. Rinnovo Construction focuses on interior office fit out, retail and lobbies.
Primary Responsibilities: Create, post and maintain monthly AIA billings, prepare all backup required. Diligently report, invoice and track change orders Recording electronic and paper invoices in QuickBooks Understanding of Job Costing  Keeping proper track and periodic reconciliation of project job costs A/R cash applications Collections  Assisting with percentage of work completion (WIP) Analyze Job costs and communicate results with PM's Track collections issue and report to upper management weekly Coordinate subcontractor invoices and payments per contract terms and enter in the system Provide full backup billing of CM jobs Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in Construction Accounting or Construction Finance  College Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Commercial construction accounting experience is required Working knowledge of Procore software is a preferred  Working knowledge of QuickBooks software is a must Solid organizational and time management skills Individual must be detailed oriented Working knowledge of AIA billings Embrace process improvement initiatives Technology ProCore Microsoft Office 365 Google Suites Quickbooks What's on Offer Competitive Base Salary - Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 Benefits Package includes: Health, Medical, Dental, Vision, etc. PTO 401K Growth Opportunity within company Benefits of working as a Project Accountant in New York, NY:
