What are we looking for ? We are seeking a Project Alarm Technician to join our National Accounts crew at various locations across the United States. As one of our Project Alarm Technicians, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various low-voltage systems, such as security systems, fire alarm systems, and CCTV systems. This position will be in a commercial setting and will ensure that all low-voltage systems are installed professionally and to the specifications of our clients.
The Responsibilities Perform installations, maintenance, repairing and troubleshooting of low-voltage systems to specifications, blueprints, and industry standards. Identifying, pulling, labeling, terminating and testing various cable types. Installation of various types of pathway support structures such as J-hooks, cable tray, and support rings. Coordinate with project manager and keep open line of communication on progress of project via daily logs, emails, phone calls, etc. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing I.C.E. Contractors, Inc. Ensure OSHA compliance by following safety guidelines and practices continuously while on the job site. The Requirements Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience with installations, maintenance, and repairing of low-voltage systems. Ability to work independently without direct supervision. Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and have a clean driving record within the last three years. Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation. Willingness to travel for an extended period of time. Experience with operating various types of man lifts and the ability to work at various different heights. A passion for the Low-Voltage trade! The Plus's State Specific Alarm Licensing Requirements NICET Certification OSHA 10 and/or 30 Other Information Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Day Shift or Night Shift Where: various job sites across the United States.
