Project Analyst

The Project Analyst will support and maintain the Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) systems, reports, tools, and related processes and procedures.   The Project Analyst will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management function of the PPMO by providing technical, analytical, and administrative support to project/portfolio managers of projects/programs. 
Hybrid Schedule: 2-3 days per week on-site at the West Des Moines office.
\n Essential FunctionsSupports Project Managers for both internal and external projects by following Telligen's project management processes for both Waterfall and Agile projects.  Assists with managing project documentation, team sites, and other tools to maximize team collaboration, information retention, and efficiency.  Maintains, reviews, and analyzes project data, and provides ongoing updates to Project Managers.  Supports creation and maintenance of project plans, status reports, and other key documents.   Responsible for ongoing maintenance and support of the PPMO systems and tools for managing projects, including JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheet, and MS Project. Collaborates with the PPMO and Performance Improvement & Excellence team to analyze project data and assess current state processes and procedures for potential improvements.  Supports implementation of identified improvements and ongoing analysis.  RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience 1-4 years of project management office or IT experience in a corporate environment Experience with project management methodology Experience with project management systems (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, SmartSheet) Proficient with Microsoft Office products Because of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essentialKnowledge of healthcareKnowledge/experience with IT projects
