Project Controls Analyst (Hybrid Remote)

Salary: $80,000 - 105,000 This position allows for 2 days per week remote / work from home. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Project Controls Specialist to join our team as a government contractor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Deltek Costpoint and a strong background in project controls, cost management, and reporting. This role is critical for ensuring the successful execution and financial management of government contracts.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts using Deltek Costpoint.Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and contract terms.Prepare and review cost reports, analyzing variances and providing recommendations for corrective actions.Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, including milestones and deliverables.Track project progress against the schedule, identifying and addressing potential delays or issues.Provide support in the development of project management plans and strategies.Prepare and present regular project status reports to internal stakeholders and government clients.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to project budgets, expenditures, and performance.Ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual requirements in all reporting and documentation.Utilize Deltek Costpoint for financial data entry, tracking, and reporting.Ensure accurate and timely input of project costs, labor hours, and other relevant data into Costpoint.Provide training and support to team members on the use of Costpoint for project controls.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in project controls or cost management, preferably within a government contracting environment.Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint is required; experience with other project management software is a plus.Strong understanding of project controls principles, including cost management, scheduling, and reporting.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
