Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our Pre-Construction Division, supporting projects across the Americas. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the coordination and tracking of project activities from post-sale through permitting and utility interconnection approval.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the project management team during the pre-construction phase of development.
Coordinate and track all project-related activities from post-sale through permitting and utility interconnection approval.
Assist in the development of EPC agreements and ensure effective management of customer interactions.
Manage the application process for customer permits and utility interconnection.
Develop skills to assist in project cost management, including managing change orders and tracking budgets.
Initiate, prepare, process, and review requests for information as required.
Maintain project documentation, including photos, construction documents, and equipment specifications.
Troubleshoot project issues, evaluate alternatives, and propose solutions.
Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to the project manager and management team.
Coordinate permitting and utility interconnection applications and agreements.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred; or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in project coordination for commercial solar construction or related field.
Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands:
Desk work for 6-8 hours per day with occasional walking and light lifting.
Minimal bending, stooping, or reaching.
Occasional exposure to environmental elements during remote visits.
