Unconditional Job Requirements: Bachelor or Master of Architecture degree required, from an accredited college preferred.Architectural License or currently working toward licensure preferred.2-5 years of experience as a designer for small to large scale, Commercial, Municipal, K-12 architectural projects.Educational experience preferred since 85% of our work is for NJ Schools.Ability to effectively maintain records and files and develop multiple projects simultaneously.Strong design skills, technical proficiency, and excellent understanding of design and construction.Experience in different areas of architecture, from pre-design through construction administration.Team player, self-starter, and highly motivated.Flexibility in work hours; those inclined to punch a clock from 9 to 5 need not apply.Technology Proficiency is a must; knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite and Adobe programs is essential.Proficiency with REVIT is a MUST; Solutions Architecture has been 100% REVIT since 2009.Knowledge of or proficiency with CORE software is preferred.Exceptional communication and writing skills for team/client interactions; ability to follow oral and written instructions.High level of computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Programs. Primary Responsibilities: As a utility player at the Junior Level position, you will be responsible for:
Conducting surveys of sites and buildings, both interior and exterior.Learning to generate 3-D Building Scans.Generating presentation drawings/images/sketches for client approval.Preparing meeting minutes at all attended meetings.Assisting with the completion of contract drawings for each project.Completing drawings using Revit Architecture following determined standards.Assisting the Spec Writer with the preparation of technical specifications.Coordinating with Consultants and in-house production.Reviewing consultant drawings for accuracy and coordination.Assisting with construction administration during the construction of the project.
