Project Engineer 2

Position Overview: This role involves coordinating materials, managing change orders, and compiling cost data. The Project Engineer will assist with site inspections, compliance, and maintaining project schedules. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry is required. Travel to work sites required. Key Responsibilities: Maintain project records, including testing, inspections, and progress photographs. Assist in developing and managing project schedules. Prepare, track, and distribute RFIs, submittals, and permits. Coordinate material procurement and subcontractor mobilization. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and lead closeout processes. Compile cost reports and forecasts for review with the project manager. Support field staff with inspections and ensure proper documentation. Education and Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related fields, or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in heavy-civil construction or mining.
