Who knows where our shared journey will take you?Our Electrical Standards team is looking for a Project Engineer located in our Hingham, MA, facility where we develop, design and manufacturer automatic transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, and power control systems. Your engineering knowledge will help our organization improve its ability to make the world a safer and more reliable place: think hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other aspects of life as we know it, that needs reliable power systems. In this role you will be responsible for the creation and support of electrical drawing and documentation standards. You will work alongside others in the Electrical Standards team to maintain existing and create new electrical schematic and layout standards using electrical design software such as Zuken E3, Promise Connect, and AutoCAD.Responsibilities include:Crafting and maintaining standards for Schematics and Wiring Diagrams as well as System Descriptions and Bill of Materials.Independently develops electrical drawing standards and conventions to be used in standards and production work.Leads, supplies, and supports various projects lead by the Electrical Standards team.Creating and maintaining parts and symbols used in standards or production orders.Provides support and training to others within the Engineering department.Communicates optimally with all levels of employees and management.Provide an estimated completion schedule for every project and assignment.Finish the projects in a timely manner.Participates in the continuous improvement of the department or group standards.Involved in the development and maintenance of process and workflow systems for Engineering and other departments (Sales, Mechanical, Programming, Purchasing, etc.).You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Degree in Electrical Engineering (or other relevant field) or equivalent combination of formal education, training, and experience.Ability to interpret schematics, wiring prints, point lists, and other documentation.Experience with CAD Software (Zuken E3, AutoCAD, Promise), Microsoft Word, Excel, Access.Ability to lead numerous projects simultaneously.Ability to work as part of a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office suiteQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the design of electrical power control circuits.
