Project Engineer

Structural Builders and Restorations is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team.
This role provides critical support to Superintendents and Project Managers in various aspects of fieldwork, procurement, reporting, and contract management.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in communication, helping ensure each project runs smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities: Assist in fieldwork coordination and provide day-to-day support to Superintendents and Project Managers.
Manage procurement processes, including materials and equipment acquisition.
Prepare detailed reports, pay applications, subcontracts, and other project documentation.
Coordinate with various trades and maintain open communication across project teams.
Ensure compliance with project plans, shop drawings, and specifications.
Contribute to project problem-solving and maintain efficiency under pressure.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Construction or Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field OR graduating in December in a related field.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures, building systems, and tools.
Proven ability to interpret plans, shop drawings, and project specifications.
Strong math and computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, and On-Screen Takeoff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with workers, trades, and project stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
