Job Description: This job posting is for candidates interested specifically in our San Francisco or Sacramento offices. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Able to perform all essential Entry Level/Intern Project Engineer responsibilitiesAttend and document project meetings (write minutes)Set up and maintain electronic filing systemUpdate and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications, and logsAssist with preparation of CPM schedulesAssist with updating and maintaining master CPM scheduleEvaluate and understand basic construction means and methodsMaintain a site-specific safety plan and pre-task planning process, including audits, meetings, training, etc.Distribute all documents to subcontractors and maintain document logsEvaluate field problems and document PCI'sPrepare and maintain PCI logs on CMiC systemReview, analyze, and transmit submittalsPrepare and maintain submittal logs and procurement logPerform expediting functionsCost code and/or verify correct codes on time sheetsCode Accounts Payable Workflows as assignedVerify original estimate quantities for labor cost reportsReport quantities in place and maintain labor cost reportPrepare and document extra work ordersReview and assemble change order submittals and quantity surveysMaintain PCI log in CMiC systemSet up and maintain a Quality Management systemMaintain progress photo albumCompile contract close-out documents (O&M manuals, as-builts, etc.)Maintain record set drawingsDocument punch list workPerform basic functions of Building Information Modeling and model administrationComplete other responsibilities as assignedMINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent0-3 years of construction-related experience, or equivalentConstruction-related internship experience preferredField experience a plus – e.g. carpenterBasic understanding of construction cost accountingBasic estimating and scheduling skillsBasic computer skillsAbility to read and understand plans and specificationsEffective organizational skillsEffective written and verbal English language communication skillsAbility to use independent judgment; self-startingDrafting and advanced computer skills a plusKnowledge of virtual construction technology systems preferred
