Title: Project Management Specialist (Aerospace) Job ID: 99175 Location: Miami, FL. Job Description/Position Overview: This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the above-mentioned locations. Export Control: The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Position Summary: This position is accountable for performing business management activities for key managed programs customers. The role will manage Key Performance Indicators including but not limited to aggregation of managed program revenue, earnings, inventory, cash management, and operational performance. Supports projects and processes, provides technical management of customers, and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Enhancement of existing and implementation of new programs. Maintain and create a professional yet personalized relationship with assigned customers. Accountable for continuous improvement in customer program management tools and processes. Collaborate with cross-functional peers regarding customer specific strategy, and customer relationship management. Responsible for consistent management and administration of contractual obligations. Supports the program by coordinating program metrics. Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices. Facilitates the resolution of program issues, developing solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Collects, organizes, and provides data according to established processes within the management system to maintain status of programs, customer and supplier commitments and compliance. Ensures follow up action for issue resolution. Possess working knowledge of customer systemic issues and system functionality. Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding ordering and/or delivery of spare parts and provisioning products or related services. Work with Planning to ensure customer forecasts are loaded/updated. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience) 4-6 years related work experience. 1-3 years of related work experience Previous experience in the aerospace industry/fasteners, preferred. Advanced Excel Skills Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Education: bachelor's degree – (Business Administration or Engineering or Related Field of Study) or equivalent work experience.
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at own their expense.
Travel: This position requires traveling up to 25% of the time.
