Project Manager - Architectural Woodworking
We are seeking a Project Manager with architectural woodworking experience! The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of architectural woodworking projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, design team, production team, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. With a focus on Corporate, Hospitality, Institutional, Restaurant, and Retail projects, take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and innovative solutions to clients.
Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, in collaboration with the client and internal teams.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Coordinate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless workflow and efficient project execution.
* Select and manage subcontractors and vendors, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
* Monitor project budgets closely, tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and addressing any variances in a timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations on the job site, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and other relevant records.
* Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the architectural woodworking or construction industry, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects.
* In-depth knowledge of architectural woodworking techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
