Job Description As a Project Manager - Backup & Storage Engineer (m/f), you will lead the development and management of an agile squad that handle several internal services using CommVault, NetApp, Dell EMC, Brocade and S3 technologies.
Your main responsibilities:
Develop a clear and compelling vision for the Backup & Storage services, aligned with the goals and objectives
Formulate and execute a strategic roadmap that outlines the evolution of the services over time
Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders within the public administration to ensure the Services meet their requirements
Oversee the end-to-end Services development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and maintenance
Work closely with development and architecture teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value and impact
Ensure that all the up-to-date information are always available to the Operations team, so that they will be able to effectively respond to the most common incidents
In cooperation with the Architects, define UX/UI layouts to ensure the Services provide an intuitive and user-friendly experience for end users
Develop and maintain a release schedule, coordinating with Development and Operations teams to ensure smooth and timely releases in an agile context
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Services and regularly monitor and report on their performance
Implement optimization strategies to enhance the Services efficiency, scalability, and reliability
Collaborate with security experts to ensure the Services adhere to industry best practices and comply with relevant regulations
Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure a secure development environment
Oversee and approve the documentation prepared by the Architects, including user guides, API documentation, and best practices, service operational procedures
Your profile:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience as a Product Owner or Service Owner in a similar context
Experience in developing or managing services tailored for developers. Ability to ensure that the strategic objectives and product definitions of developer-focused services are aligned with the developers' vision and needs
Strong understanding of storage and backup processes and methodologies
Good understanding of software development approaches
Development or Services for Developers experience
Strong understanding of public cloud basics (AWS mainly, Azure, OVHCloud)
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/SAFe process and principles
Good understanding of DevOps or DevSecOps principles
Familiarity with public administration processes and requirements is a plus
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
