Walker Healthforce is seeking a Project Manager for a healthcare client located Detroit, MI.

Walker Healthforce Standard Perks: Weekly pay via Direct Deposit Medical, Dental, and Vision Available 401K JOB SUMMARY Plan project scope, schedule, costs, and personnel Allocate resources and budget for projects within responsibility Prepare reports and recommendations for management, coordinating implementation Act as a consultant on external projects Supervise support staff tasks related to projects Coordinate multiple teams for project execution Maintain responsibility for project completion within departments or regions Lead reviews of hospital/medical group areas and manage multi-analyst projects Develop project plans and objectives, and refine work plans Provide input for budget preparation and manage daily project team activities Facilitate meetings, provide project updates, and prepare management reports Conceptualize ideas and execute work plans Monitor project priorities and progress Conduct interviews, analyze systems, and identify improvement opportunities Test alternative methods, assess costs and benefits, and define system requirements Assist in implementing revised methods and systems Guide support staff in operations analysis and decision support activities Establish work schedules and control workflow Identify staff development needs and opportunities for skill enhancement JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of PM experience in a health insurance industry Healthcare / payer experience Certification in project management (PMP, PMBOK, etc.)
