Description

Project Managers/Estimators bid, sell, and manage projects from pre-construction through completion.
They serve as the primary point of contact with our customers and are responsible for the financial

results of the project.


Responsibilities: Perform takeoff of all quantities of concrete and masonry scope items and create estimates utilizing software Complete estimates incorporating subcontractor pricing, labor productions, and material costs Develop and maintain relationships with clients Pre-construction project setup in company software Create and submit project submittals Manage project cost, schedule, and cash flow Attend monthly project financial meetings with the accounting department Track project labor production - daily, weekly, monthly - through reporting and production meetings Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate project activities with Superintendent and Foreman Foster and lead project safety Complete project closeout Requirements 5+ years experience with commercial subcontractors Must have good organizational and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft programs such as: Word, Excel, and Outlook General knowledge of commercial construction principles and practices is required Have working experience with existing General Contractors Ability to read and interpret construction plans, documents and specifications Have previous experience in estimating and managing projects 2-4 Year Degree in Construction Management or similar field
