Job Summary:
The Project Manager for the Solar Division at Wolf River Electric will oversee and manage the successful execution of solar energy projects from inception to completion. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate project viability. Coordinate with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure project requirements are met. Project Execution: Manage day-to-day project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives. Lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle. Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all installations meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks. Communication and Reporting: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management. Prepare and present project status reports, including progress, budget, and risk assessments. Project Closing: Ensure all project deliverables are completed to the client's satisfaction. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in the solar industry. Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, construction processes, and electrical standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Benefits:
