Function: Engineering Position Summary Candidate will work out of Fori's Shelby Twp. Michigan facility and will report to the Welding Group Business Unit Manager. Candidate must demonstrate the following to be considered:
Job Duties and Responsibilities Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Manage all aspect of Mid to Large scale, complex or significant engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget Overall accountability for design / build / install projects – able to manage multiple projects. Responsible for project financial results including performance to budget, cash flow, change management. Accountable for on-time delivery. Leadership skills including leading technical teams (Robotics, Mechanical and Electrical) Travel required between other Fori build / manufacturing sites (USA & Mexico) Ability to provide weekly reporting to senior management team via spread sheet matrix, project timing summary, internal company open issues matrix, etc. Education and Experience Technical Degree Minimum of (6) years' experience in project management. PMP certification preferred but not essential. Strong communication and organization skills. Proficient at Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of robotic welding and mechanical joining processes, layout, equipment, tooling, process design and material handling systems. Minimum of (3) years' experience in robotic welding systems: Prior Project Management experience with the following: Robotic Mig and Spot-Welding Systems Robotic Mechanical Joining (SPR's, DAS, Flow Drill & Projection Welding) Systems Creates, executes, and adjusts project work plans as needed Responsible for keeping the project within the contract scope with ability to identify added content and project scope creep Lincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
