Job Description
Our client seeks a Project Manager working in the public health sector to coordinate and manage community-level data requests and partnerships for the Substance Use Epidemiology Program, including data cleaning, analysis, and presentation, while ensuring compliance with program requirements and maintaining effective data sharing relationships.
Responsibilities Responsible for the coordination and dissemination of all community-level data requests and partnerships. Will manage data requests, analyses, and manuscripts for the Substance Use Epidemiology Program s Harm Reduction Surveillance system. Responsible for data cleaning, analyzing data, and presenting information as requested. Planning, organizing, and managing project timelines for University Research Projects. Ensuring data request paperwork, processing and fulfillment meet program requirements. Managing and tracking deliverables. Working with legal to establish new data sharing relationships with other state agencies. Maintaining and fostering data sharing relationships and reporting as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A thorough knowledge of data models, regression analysis, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques A thorough knowledge of sophisticated reporting packages, databases, and programming. A thorough knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques utilized for analyzing large datasets. Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to conduct queries, draw conclusions, prepare written reports and present findings in a clear and concise manner. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with state and municipal officials, superiors, subordinates, and the public. Other related capacities and abilities. Education and Experience Master s Degree from a college of recognized standing in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, public health, or a closely related field with similar technical and computational emphasis Talent Groups is an equal opportunity employer.
